Warriors are crowned after eight week course

Big congratulations to our ten Backwell Karate Bushido Warriors^TM who completed their eight week course for 5 to 7 year olds on Friday 20th March.

Seven of our Warriors completed level 1, having joined us for the first time earlier this year and a record 80 per cent of children completing the course were girls - living up to the aim of Sport England's 'This Girl Can' campaign.

Over the course of the eight weeks our Bushido Warriors learnt their first Karate kicks, punches and blocks and also had a go at kata, partner work and pad work. Upon completion of the course, all ten children were awarded their Backwell Karate Bushido Warriors certificates.
