Double Gold at WTKO Irish Open

Backwell Karate scooped two gold alongside a clutch of silver and bronze medals at the WTKO Irish Open in Dublin on Sunday.

Congratulations to our seven-strong squad that represented the club and came away with seven separate placings! A fantastic achievement.

Among the medals we picked up a Gold in the Senior Team Kata event and in the Male Veteran Kumite Dublin was treated to an all-Backwell final, won by Dan Salter, with Ian Connell picking up silver.
