Join us for a special course with Sensei Price

We are delighted to announce that Sensei Matt Price (6th Dan) will be visiting Nailsea and Backwell once again on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th September for an open seminar. Once again we welcome visitors of all affiliations.

Sensei Price is an instructor of phenomenal skill. He coaches the Northern Region EKF all-styles kumite squad as well as being JKS England National coach. A former KUGB Grand Champion and ESKA European Champion, Sensei Price's breadth of knowledge brings another dimension to his lessons, which many of our members have had the pleasure of experiencing!

Friday 8 September

Venue: Backwell Parish Hall, Station Road, Backwell, BS48 3QW
18.30-19.30: General class (novice - 4th kyu)
19.30-20.30: Kumite techniques and strategies (brown and black belts)

Saturday 9 September

Venue: Scotch Horn Leisure Centre (main sports hall), Nailsea, near Bristol, BS48 1BZ
10.00-11:30: General class, including submission/ground work (all grades)
12.00-13.30: Advanced class (black belts only)

Booking is now open to the general public and is secured by payment of the course fee. Due to the popularity of events at the club in the last two years we recommend booking early and taking advantage of our 'early bird' prices. Once all spaces are booked, that's it! You can book at classes or by email, with payment made straight to the club by online transfer. Please email info@backwellkarate.org if you need the club's account details.
